Mary Chavarria, MD

She/her/hers

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist and board-eligible in child and adolescent psychiatry. Originally from Los Angeles, I earned my bachelor’s degree from Duke University, becoming inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and graduating magna cum laude. I was awarded the Distinguished Faculty Scholarship and earned my medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. I returned to Los Angeles to complete my psychiatry residency at the UCLA-VA program in Westwood. I then continued my training, completing child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at USC, serving a patient population through LA General Medical Center and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family (especially cooking for them or trying new restaurants together), gardening, traveling, and giving all the snuggles to my rescue dog, Cindy.
